PLEASE NOTE: OUR REFEREE VENDOR FORMS ARE REQUIRED ANNUALLY AND MUST BE UP-TO-DATE TO QUALIFY FOR A PAYMENT
To clarify our current policy, we have recently updated our verbiage:
- Your report should be accompanied by a cover letter to the editor and uploaded to our editorial system using the unique link we provided you with in our initial request (we understand that there may be unavoidable circumstances and you may need to email your report to us, the unique link is more secure and helps you to remain anonymous).
- For reports received by JMCB within 30 days of your acceptance date, you may receive $100.00 payment OR choose to receive a one-year, complimentary subscription to the JMCB journal (only one subscription is awarded within a one-year period).
- For reports received by JMCB within 60 days of your acceptance date, you may receive $40.00 payment.
- Although we value your thoughts and appreciate your work, for reports received by JMCB after 60 days of your acceptance date, we are unable to compensate you. (If you cannot or do not wish to receive payment, please let us know so we can update our records.)
- Our Accounting Department requires payment forms to be updated ANUALLY - and is only needed once for each fiscal year. A secure link to the forms is included in our request to you but you may request the link again by emailing us at jmcb@osu.edu.
We have shifted our process primarily to email and online as much as possible. These actions should help to speed up our editorial process.
