Omicron Delta Epsilon

The Department of Economics is home to a chapter of the Economics Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon, one of the world’s largest academic honor societies. Members of ODE participate in a wide range of activities from discussions of economic issues, social events, and community service. Applications for membership are accepted on a rolling basis. The Omicron Delta Epsilon chapter at Ohio State welcomes Ohio State students with passionate interest for research, networking and excellence in the economic discipline.

Undergraduate Economics Journal

UEJ is a peer-reviewed academic journal and magazine, which publishes economics-related articles and content by undergraduates at OSU and from other colleges. We offer opportunities for OSU undergraduates to write articles and create other content (including comics, podcasts, videos, etc.), as well as leadership opportunities on our Editorial and Executive Boards.

The Undergraduate Economics Society (UES)

The Undergraduate Economics Society is a student organization run by economics majors and advised by members of the faculty and staff. The UES provides students with a weekly forum to discuss current economic policy topics and to hear presentations on faculty member research. Representatives of business and government also are frequent guests and provide students with an important perspective on the role of economic thinking and policy. UES also provides the chance for students to network and make connections for internships and future job opportunities.

Women in Economics

The primary focus of Women in Economics is to empower women by increasing their representation at all levels in Economics, while fostering connections within the Ohio State community and beyond. We strive for the professional development of women in Economics through hosting speakers and encouraging active discussion for our members, as well as coordinating outreach events of service, education, and leadership.
