Jafar Olimov's interests are in industrial organization and development economics. His current research studies the behavior of firms in developing countries. Prior to joining the department, Jafar worked as a consultant for the World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, and at Research Center SHARQ in Tajikistan. In the Department of Economics, Jafar teaches Intermediate Microeconomics.
