Areas of Study / Major Fields

We offer field sequences in seven areas of specialization. Current tenure track faculty who teach and/or advise Ph.D. students specializing in these fields are listed below. One of the two required fields may be an approved field outside the Economics Department: the Finance field (offered by the Department of Finance, College of Business) and the Development fields (offered by the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics).
