Economics alumnus Matthew Mitten (BA, 1981), professor of law and director of the National Sports Law Institute at Marquette University Law School, served on the Court of Arbitration for Sport ad hoc Division for the 2014 Winter Olympics with eight lawyers, judges and law professors from around the world. Mitten is the leading U.S. expert in sports law.
