Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Important Information About Econometrics Courses

Elementary Econometrics (4400) and Econometrics I (5410) are similar courses, but not identical. Students cannot earn credit for both courses. Econometrics I is part of a 2-course series with Econometrics II (5420) as the second course. Econometrics I is a pre-requisite for Econometrics II. The B.S. degree requires both 5410 and 5420. The B.A. requirement is typically met with 4400, but could be met with 5410. Students that anticipate taking Econometrics II should enroll in Econometrics I.
