The Department of Economics welcomes new Assistant Professor, Hoang Nguyen!
Hoang received his Ph.D. in Economics at Georgetown University. His research interests are Econometrics, Machine Learning and Operations Research with a focus on high-dimensional statistical methods in economic applications, estimation of dynamic discrete choice models, and inverse reinforcement learning.
