Kurt Lavetti received a Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University in 2011. His primary research interests are in health and labor economics. He recently completed a fellowship as a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy at UC Berkeley, where he investigated the effects of non-competition agreements on physician organization and productivity. He has also studied preferences for occupational safety, the value of statistical life, physician labor markets, and health insurance design.
