ECON 8856: Health Economics

This course covers major research topics in health care and individual economics decisions related to health, structure of health care and insurance markets, and government policies. The course also provides a survey of data resources available to researchers in health economics, and the methodology of measurement and valuation of healthcare market performance and quality of healthcare providers.
Prereq: 8712 and 8731; or permission of instructor.
