Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Asia Module

In May of 2018, Dr. Qian Wang of Texas A&M hosted an organizational conference at Jilin University in Changchun, China with a goal of extending the Global History of Health Project to Asia.  About 35 attendees were enthusiastic about the prospects.  Considerable discussion centered on sources of data and methods of collection.  On the latter point project leaders agreed that the code book for the European module, perhaps slightly modified, would be effective.  Updated software is anticipated. Stay tuned as this project unfolds.
