Professor Meta Brown to present at TEDxOhioStateUniversity
Every spring semester, TEDxOhioStateUniversity hosts an event featuring Ohio State students, faculty, staff and alumni who leverage their scholarly expertise and research to present on a wide range of topics.
This year’s TEDxOhioStateUniversity event, “Bloom,” will be held in person and virtually on February 26th at the Mershon Auditorium from 12-4 pm.
Meta Brown, associate professor in the Department of Economics and a faculty affiliate of the Institute for Population Research will be one of 12 featured speakers at this TEDxOhioStateUniversity event. Brown’s research examines the “graying” of American debt, young consumers’ debt experiences and the space between lender and borrower reports of consumer obligations. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation and has appeared in the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, and Ohio State University’s own Journal of Money, Credit and Banking.
Professor Brown is one of ten speakers featured from the Arts and Sciences.
