Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

I am a macroeconomist with research interests in labor markets, firm dynamics, sovereign debt, and computational methods.

My research explores topics such as what is the role of firm productivity heterogeneity on determining worker flows between employers and wage dynamics, computational strategies to quantify the role of earnings risk and its impact on life-cycle wealth and consumption decisions, and disentangling the roles of default and dilution risk in debt markets where borrowers lack commitment.

I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. At OSU I will teach an undergraduate course on Money and Banking and a PhD course on Search Theory and Applications.
