Aldo Lucia is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Ohio State University, where he joined the department in the fall of 2024. He earned his Ph.D. in Social Science from the California Institute of Technology and grew up in southern Italy.

Aldo is an experimental economist who combines theory with experiments to study individual decision-making. His work primarily focuses on directly testing economic models, with a particular emphasis on the external validity of their predictions. Additionally, he is interested in exploring how various experimental interventions influence the way individuals process information and make decisions.
